The attorneys at Greene Broillet & Wheeler support many charitable organizations and events throughout the Los Angeles area. One of the organizations that we support is the Upward Bound House, whose mission is to eliminate homelessness among families with children in our community.
Earlier this month, Upward Bound House held its second annual Home Run For Kids event. The 5k/10k Walk/Run was held on May 4th in the Brentwood community of West Los Angeles.
Over 1,500 participants came to the event, which was sponsored by many area schools and businesses. At least $68,000 was raised for Upward Bound House, which will help increase awareness of the homelessness problem in our community and transition families into permanent homes.
Upward Bound House achieves its mission through advocacy work and by providing housing and supportive services to families in need.
