Greene Broillet Files Lawsuit in Milton Olin Jr. Death

The law firm of Greene Broillet & Wheeler LLP recently filed a lawsuit for the family of a prominent entertainment attorney who was killed after being hit by a deputy’s patrol car in Calabasas last December.

The lawsuit was filed on behalf of the family of Milton Olin Jr., an attorney who formerly served as Napster’s COO. His death was covered by every major media outlet, including TMZ, the New York Daily News, and The Huffington Post.

Milton Olin Jr. was hit by the sheriff’s deputy in the bike lane of the 22400 block of Mulholland Highway. He reportedly hit the windshield of the patrol car and was pronounced dead at the scene.

“We believe the sheriff (deputy) was operating his vehicle negligently, inappropriately and this never should have happened,” said attorney Bruce A. Broillet, who is representing the family. “We will be seeking to hold the county, the sheriff (deputy) and the Sheriff’s Department accountable for the death of Milton Olin.”

“Our goal is to make sure this family is fairly and properly compensated for the profound loss that has happened here,” Broillet added.

The Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office has launched an investigation into whether to criminally charge deputy Andrew Wood in this case.
