Alex Toys has recently recalled a toddler trampoline which can present a fall hazard for young children. The Little Jumpers Trampolines were sold for around $100 across the country.
The toys are toddler-sized trampolines that have a handlebar that may become detached and cause a toddler to fall to the ground. Toddlers can sustain serious head injuries even when they fall from relatively low heights.
The fragility of young children and the potential seriousness of the injuries from this defective product means that parents should cease using the trampolines and contact the company for a replacement trampoline.

In this case, it is unclear whether the potentially defective handlebar on the little jumpers is a product of a design or manufacturing defect.
